Poems by Miller, mostly on family & religious themes, but including a long poem on the sinking of the Rouse Simmons in Lake Michigan in 1912 - the 'Christmas Tree Ship' of some fame. With 3 sepia-tone b/w plates by Miller. Published by noted artist & designer Ralph Fletcher Seymour in an edition of only 500, this one SIGNED by Miller on the half-title page. Hardcover, full tan buckram, brown titling & decoration. Shows light wear, some foxing, particularly near the plates & endsheets; some tanning/offsetting to endsheets from jacket; jacket with light chipping, minor fading - scarce in the jacket. Text clean; 73 pages, 3 plates, as called for. Size: 6½" by 9".
