Toronto, Canada. McClelland & Stewart Limited. 1946. First Canadian Edition. Octavo (8 x 6). 248 plus page About the Author. Inscribed and signed by Roderick Haig-Brown on the half-title page. Illustrated with eight black and white plates drawn by Charles De Feo. Haig-Brown's book is the best account published on the singular migration of a Pacific salmon as it travels from its river of birth, out to sea, and back again to spawn. The book is bound in beige cloth with green spine titles. Pictorial dust jacket. By the way, the jacket on this edition is strange looking. The fish illustrated on the jacket clearly isn't a salmon, but it does resembles a cross between a cod and a bonefish. A nice book. Fine in a very good jacket with light edge wear.

Shipping terms
Orders usually ship within 2 business days. Shipping costs are based on books weighing 2.2 LB, or 1 KG. If your book order is heavy or oversized, we may contact you to let you know extra shipping is required. My chosen shipping option is the U. S. Postal Service. USPS is the best in terms of service and cost efficiency. Overseas shipments are charged at cost. Other shipping options are available, such as UPS, FedEx, DHL, etc.; however, they are frightfully expensive.
