About this Item
The uncommon 1958 1st edition of the poet Jack Micheline's first published book, with an enthusiastic Introduction by Jack Kerouac at the front pastedown. THIS COPY INSCRIBED BY JACK MICHELINE IN YEAR-OF-PUBLICATION ACROSS THE DEDICATION PAGE, WITH A DRAWING IN HIS HAND OF 2 CONNECTED FIGURES. A presentable copy to boot of a fragile book. Tight and VG- to VG in its stapled, pictorial wrappers, with mild staining and fading along the panels and very light wear to the spine. Light pencil as well at the Table of Contents and one small, neat marker at the foot of pg 1. 12mo, the maiden title in the seminal "Troubador Poets" series, Jack Micheline having "been chosen as the first of the TROUBADOR POETS".
