The cover has green cloth with goldtone letters. 329 pages; 16 b/w plates. The subject is boxing. The author's inscription and signature are in brown ink from a fountain pen. May 19/25 is below the signature. It appears that the ink ran too much on two words, so they were lined through and rewritten. The ink ran heavy for the r of Corbett and the 2 of /25. A gift inscription, dated Dec. 1963, is on the front pastedown. The top and bottom edges of the spine strip are partly frayed. The bottom, front corners of the boards are slightly frayed. The front endpaper's fold is split. Three pages each have a closed tear, 3/4 in. to 7 in, that are rejoined with glue. Five pages each have one to two stains, up to 3/4 in. The text block ends have darkened. The pages are lightly tanned. International shipping will require extra cost. Scans e-mailed upon request.
