Limited edition of 15 numbered copies. Rare portfolio of seven signed aquatints by Belgian artist Robert Wuytack (1934 - ), accompanied by poems by seven different Belgian writers, including Willem Persoon, Katelijne van der Hallen, Gerda van Erkel, Lut de Block, Roger Geerts, Anton van Wilderode, and Claude van de Berge. Exquisitely printed on BFK Rives paper, each poem and aquatint on a separate sheet, each measuring 15" by 11.25", all gathered inside a blue board portfolio with title stamped in silver. The title translates as "Writing in the Water," and each aquatint is a minimalist abstraction of marshlands in tonal blues, a perfect distillation of Wuytack's tranquil artwork.
