The author provides a detailed look at the construction and operation of the railroads, the logging industry they served, the logging camps, financial data, accidents, and employee recreation. Illustrated throughout with 200 rare black and white photos. The author's prior book, "Thunder Lake Narrow Gauge," won an Award of Merit from the State Historical Society of Wisconsin. 150 pages.
