Jacket a bit soiled and worn, but largely intact and as it should be. ? First British edition, first issue with the word ?go? lacking the ?g? on p. 221. The US edition appeared in a signed limited as well as a trade edition just before this printing. The Rover is the last complete novel by Joseph Conrad, written between 1921 and 1922. The story takes place in the south of France, against the backdrop of the French Revolution, Napoleon's rise to power, and the French-English rivalry in the Mediterranean.
