Rugby Partnership; SIGNED (by four) 1st/1st

Neither of these authors were, by their own admission, great players when they first wore their country's jersey. This is the story of their long and successful careers with Scotland and the British Lions when they became the most capped half back partnership in international rugby. Written with the help of the award-winning Scottish sportswriter, Norman Mair, a rugby international in his own right, it covers the recent history of Scottish rugby and explains the authors' solution to the problems assailing a traditional amateur game in an increasingly commercial age.
