INSCRIBED BY BOTH RUTH AND FOSTER JOHNSON on the front free endpaper. A solid copy to boot of the 1972 1st edition. Crisp and VG (with light foxing at the panels) in a G+ example of the fragile glassine dustjacket, which is 80% present but is missing roughly 1/4 to 1/5 of it along the front panel's top-edge. Still though, presentable and attractive. Tall quarto, nicely illustrated thruout in tipped-in color drawings by Foster Johnson. Signed by Author(s).
