Original publisher's green cloth lettered gilt at the spine. Tipped at the front is a letter signed by Bernard Hollander to on Cavendish Square London saying that he had posted the book to this person and would be pleased for any observations on his theories and any corroboration of these theories. Although phrenology had been discriminated many years before this writer presses on with his theories which seem to have very little to do with bumps in the head and more with the shape of the skull. Sound used copy with some mottling at front pages and frontand rear edges and spine overall used near very good with some damp marks to end papers. text and illustrations clean.
