An extensive analysis of the Old Testament with its prophecies and typologies of the Messiah. Hoven was on the faculty of Northwest Christian College in Eugene, Oregon. Signed presentation from Hoven on the front endpaper: "In acknowledgement of one of my good students and a happy fellowship at N.C.C. this is inscribed to my friend Fern Nutting. Victor E. Hoven." This title is quite scarce in the first edition, especially in the original dust jacket and with a signed presentation. Very Good (some extremely faint dampstaining upper portion of the rear cover; contents clean & tight); some edgewear (few short tears and tiny chips; 3-inch tear along spinefold with neat interior repair using archival tape; bit of dampstaining head of spine) d/j.
