First Printing of the First UK edition, published in London by Collins in 1992. Signed by the author at the title page. In VG used condition. Pushed at the spine tips but sharp corners and remains firmly bound. The text-block is just lightly toned and the lower cover or board is starting to bow outwards a little. Free from owner names etc and very clean inside and out. The protected dustjacket is unclipped and without tears or nicks etc. Some colour-fading at the spine. Near Fine.

Parcel mail rates from Finland are based on the size of the parcel as opposed to weight, and include tracking by default. Books are shipped as parcels.
For customers in Europe, Canada, Australia, Japan and the rest of the world, the standard parcel rate Includes full tracking.

For U.S. customers we regret that effective August 29, 2025, standard mail services from Finland containing commercial goods are unavailable due to the continuing confusion about the collection and remittance of tariff payments on goods entering the USA. We are still able to ship items by private courier, however, and have contracts with both DHL and UPS for this purpose. Courier delivery costs are considerably higher than standard mail - which will be reflected in our shipping prices for the USA - but offer much faster shipping times and enhanced security for your package.

Smaller items such as autographs, postcards or other ephemera can be sent by a less expensive Letter-rate. ** Letter mail from Finland does not include tracking by default**, however and therefore if you require this service please choose the Expedited option when placing your order for this type of item.

Shipping costs for ** framed prints or paintings** - particularly where glazed - will be higher than advertised as they are normally sent by courier. Please enquire about likely costs before placing an order as there can be variance where the picture is small.
