Presumably the 1st edition (no remarks given) & from a uk university but with no extra markings to the text, just early pages with a damp stain to lower edge - has no effect on the binding (it is tight and square), or crispness of those pages. We have now added a photo of the author's signature & his dedication, 'Homage a l'actions a Lord Acton'.
