8"x 10" typed signed letter on US House of Representatives stationary, dated April 17, 1962, SIGNED by Dan Rostenkowski. Letter is thank you to request for autograph to add to sellers collection. Rostenhowski was powerful Illionois Democratic Congressman who was chairman of Ways and Mean Committee. He was later indicted in a House post office scandal and sentenced to to 17 months in prison. Stationary has two folds. Comes with original House return envelope. Also includes laid-in the original New York Times obituary for Rostenkowski.
