The logo of The Renshaw Press appears on the last blank page. Introduction by Henry Kitchell Webster. Blue cloth with gilt letters on the front cover and a paper label printed in black on the spine. Blue decorative endpapers. Some wear to extremities with a couple of corners just barely worn through, bottom of spine just barely beginning to fray, covers lightly soiled gilt bright, spine label darkened but mostly intact, front hinge just barely starting, else very good to near fine with no internal markings. Born in Madison, Indiana, Charles William Collins was a Drama Critic for the Chicago Tribune (1930-1938) and editor of "A Line o'Type or Two" column in the Chicago Tribune (1938-1951). He is also the author of GREAT LOVE STORIES OF THE THEATRE (1911) and DARK ISLAND (with Gene Markey, 1928). Seller Inventory # 006933
