CONDITION DESCRIPTION: Near fine. Interior is clean and tight. Photo image with damage at top of card.
CONTENTS DESCRIPTION: The author was the wife of William Tilghman a noted US Marshall during the wild outlaw days in Kansas and Oklahoma. Not sure if the image is of Wm. Tilghman, but it was included with the autograph slip from Mrs. Zoe Tilghman; regardless, a nice image on cabinet card from a Ft. Scott, Kansas photographer. REFERENCE: ADAMS Six-Guns #2213: "Mrs. Tilghman did a great deal of research trying to determine whether or not Masterson and Earp held the office of deputy U.S. Marshall.".
