This is a US first edition paperback original printing of this title published by Lancer in 1972 AND SIGNED BY DEAN KOONTZ DIRECT TO THE TITLE PAGE. In apparently Very Fine condition, I believe it is unread. The spine is tight and straight with bright covers and sharp corners and no obvious wear. The ONLY issue is on the back cover and the purple blemish. As a collector myself, this is neither here nor there and more than compensated for by the beautiful condition and Koontz signature. Very rare in any event because Dean Koontz holds the copyright and refuses to allow it to be reprinted. Signed copies are incredibly scarce indeed. Seller Inventory # 011111
