After a small print run, it was later released in the USA under a new title matching that of the film adaptation: EYE OF THE NEEDLE. The original 1st issue DJ was issued with a price for UK editions and without a price for those early printings to be exported. Both DJs are accepted as 1st issue. An Edgar Award winner. As for condition, black cloth is clean and bright. Corners are sharp with light rubbing at tips. Light shelfwear. Most minor soiling to page edges. Erased pencil bookseller's code on corner of FFEP. As for the DJ, there is an instance where the DJ edge shows a tiny edge roll which is not uncommon for this DJ. Light speckling to gold titles on DJ (also quite common for this title). No printed price on lower front flap. All flaws are disclosed. A signed 1st edition, 1st printing in an original 1st issue DJ. NF-/NF. Seller Inventory # 000981
