Dark cloth with gilt sp. lettering, a trifle rubbed at bottom sp. otherwise pristine. 148 pp., 22 ills on 11 plates ex-pagination; top fr. end-paper inscribed 'For Dr Fox from the Author 1958' below which is dated pencil sig. of Derek Gibson (i.e. Derek Gair Gibson 1935-2021, the eminent pioneering British cardiologist) so an excellent provenance, unaffecting condition rating in my judgment. Unclipped jacket in protective sleeve as acquired generally clean and unmarked but short chips to sp.ends and spine region sun-tanned. GM 3161 Uncommon14 cm x 22 cm.
