A Very Good copy. **** British historian and antiquary, Ormerod (1785-1873) wrote a 3 volume work on the history of Cheshire county, England. Later in his life, he became fascinated with Roman history in England. STRIGULENSIA, his work on Roman Gloucestershire, is about the archaeology of the local region around Chepstow Castle, which in the Middle Ages had been known as "Striguil".
