Synopsis
Summer is the fourth and final volume of the "Seasons" quartet. Returning to the short prose of Autumn and Winter, Karl Ove Knausgaard writes about summer nights to circuses, lawn sprinklers to Mixmasters. But he also writes a diary, where the small events in a family's life are recorded against a backdrop of thoughts, memories, longings and experiences of art and literature, in an intense pursuit of the meaning of moments as they pass us by.
