About the Author
Scott Nicholson is the author of seven Apalachian thrillers, including The Skull Ring and They Hunger. He is also a screenwriter and graphic novelist, creating the comic series Grave Conditions. His first novel The Red Church was a Bram Stoker Award finalist and alternate selection of The Mystery Guild. He studied creative writing at the University of North Carolina and Appalachian State University and has been active in Mystery Writers of America. Horror Writers Association, and International Thriller Writers. Nicholson's hobbies include organic gardening, songwriting, guitar playing, fishing, and swimming. He is also a freelance editor and hosts an annual paranormal conference and writing retreats. He lives in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina.
