Dust jacket has a short closed tear to the top edge of the front panel; spine ends and edges show light wear/rubbing; not price clipped ($4.95); in an archival mylar sleeve. xvi + 233 pages. Inscribed ''For George Van Hoomissen / with Best Wishes / Robert Kennedy''. Van Hoomissen (b. 1930) was a Portland native and attorney who went on to serve on the Oregon Supreme Court from 1988-2001. In 1968, he was running on the Democratic ticket to become Oregon's Secretary of State. It was a race that he lost, though he continued to serve as the Multnomah County District Attorney, an office which he held from 1963-1970.
