A clean tight copy in hardcover signed by translator Geoffrey Wagner and numbered 121 (of 250) on the copyright page, no other markings. Unclipped dust jacket shows the original price of 3.75, some edgewear and tiny chips to the head and foot of spine. In addition to this signed edition of 250 copies, an unsigned edition of 1000 copies was also issued. Both editions are now uncommon as are many of Grove Press 1950s titles.
