From Phyllis Playter". 8vo. 224pp. Green boards lettered in gold at the spine with Powys' facsimile signature gold-stamped to the upper board. Portrait frontispiece. Edges and free endpapers lightly spotted. A very good copy in non-price-clipped dust wrapper, lightly chafed in places with some nicking and fraying to the spine panel ends and to the upper edge. A six-page introduction precedes 173 poems from his collections 'Odes and Other Poems' (1896), 'Poems' (1899), 'Wolf's Bane' (1916), 'Mandragora' (1917), 'Samphires' (1922) and 'Lucifer' (1956).
