From the personal collection of Dr. Don Noble, Professor Emeritus of the University of Alabama and the host of Alabama Public Television's 'Bookmark' author interview program. First printing stated. Black cloth boards with gold & red lettering; book block is straight with clean interior; front hinge slightly loose with evidence of previous moisture/chipping in the gutter but block is still very tight in the overall channel. DJ is worn/rubbed with chipping, particularly at extremities, but with price-point intact; looks like a vintage treasure beneath mylar. Very nice association copy, cleanly SIGNED "to Don Noble" on the title page. Dr. Noble's own August 1964 acquirement date is notated on the front free endpapers [see image]. Additional details and photos happily provided upon request.
