First edition, stated first printing. Signed by John Irving on the title page and inscribed to a former owner. Very Good or better, with light sunning along top and bottom edges, bumped corner, light edge wear, and a faint pink remainder mark to the bottom edge of the page block; front hinge slightly pulled. In a Very Good unclipped dust jacket, with some chipping and edge wear. The author's first book, signed.
