First Edition (stated). Signed and inscribed in fountain pen ink by Capt Eddie Rickenbacker & dated 1943 on the ffep. Blue full-cloth boards with red titling and illustration on cover and spine. VG condition. Flaws: spine edges are bumped and rubbed (NOT chipped or torn), pastedowns are moderately toned and front cover has what looks like a cigarette burn at top. All pages have light toning as expected but NO markings of any kind throughout (other than author's inscription). DJ is Fair with some pieces missing but the price is intact: $1.50 and in an archival cover.
