Jacket is wrapped in plastic archival jacket (not taped, easily removable). Extremely light foxing on top dust jacket edge, minimal sun spotting of top edge of pages, regular shelf wear. A historical novel set in 1857 during British colonial rule of India. A British heiress travels to India during the anti-colonial uprising, the Sepoy Rebellion. A major turning point for English imperialism that led to the dissolution of the British East India company.
