8vo. 88 pages. Hardcover with a pale green dust jacket. The jacket has some edge wear, and the jacket spine is toned. The book is sound with secure inner hinges. The text is a little musty but is unmarked. INSCRIBED by the author on the front flyleaf. "To Elizabeth Martin / With all good wishes / Charles Edward Eaton / Christmas, 1953." A handwritten notation at the bottom of this page in different handwriting reads, "C. E. Eaton, son of D. B. Eaton, brother of Clement Eaton, cousin of Flossie Martin." Charles Edward Eaton was born in Winston-Salem, N.C. in 1916, graduated from the University of North Carolina, and studied Philosophy at Princeton, University. Seller Inventory # 040661

Pages Past is a small used and antiquarian bookshop holding 10,000-15,000 volumes. We are located a few blocks from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Most of our books are hardback, although we have a few bookcases of paperbacks with recent fiction and classic literature represented. We also have a fairly good collection of Eastern Philosophy & Religion (Buddhism, Taoism, Hinduism) as well as New Age. Most of these are recent paperbacks in nice condition. We have a good collection of antiquarian books in the fields of Americana, old leather bound books, and early religious and scholarly books. Shop hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays. We're closed on Sundays. We are always interested in buying quality books in very good condition.
