Shells By a Stream - Signed presentation inscription from the author ‘for my old friend Archie F. Webling with deep gratitude and affection – Edmund Blunden, Risby, March 3rd 1947’ with an 8-line autograph poem written out by Blunden beneath and abstracted from one of the poems in the anthology ‘a country character’ beginning with the line, ‘Where the black thunder, as often has been’, Also includes an autograph letter signed written on the verso of a photograph of Blunden’s three daughters, Lucy, Margaret, Fan, summer 1956, 11 x 7.5 cm, signed card to the same recipient of the book which discusses family matters and problems in China and a Xmas poem from 1941 signed from Blunden and his wife.
