Square tight and clean throughout with little or no wear save some softness to the heel. Equally attractive clipped Ronald Clyne dust-jacket has a touch of wear to spine ends but is fresh and bright with no creases, chipping or tears. Terrific generic inscription by Derleth on the front endpaper, "Greetings from a latter day Baker Street. Canonically, August Derleth".
