First edition. This copy inscribed by the author on the fore edge margin of the title page: "Dear Spider - When all else fails - try Wales". Slim 8vo. Unpaginated. Eight leaves sewn into plain card wrappers with a blue paper dust wrapper and paper title label. In fine state. Eleven untitled poems including a verse tribute to John Berryman. 500 copies were printed in December 1973 as a promotional exercise for the John Roberts Press; 250 of these were presented to the author, and the remaining 250 were given to Bernard Stone for sale at Turret Books.
