No date but c. 1937-1942. 23.5 x 15.0 cm. Pp. not paginated, comprising a leaf of preface and approximately 184 pages of text, 4 plain and 20 colour-printed plates by the author. Bound in contemporary cloth, gilt lettering. spine faded, frayed at extremities, boards spotted. Inscribed by the author on front free end paper. The book consts of a series of article by the author first published in the Journal of the Darjeeling Natural History Society.
