Bath. Chivers Press. 1985. Stated first hardback edition on copyright page. Hard Cover. Dark green textured boards with gilt titles to spine. Minimal wear to book although text block and fore edge are age toned. Near fine. No dust jacket. The author was a screenwriter and the dedication is thought to be to an actor that starred in his film 'The Shillingbury Blowers', Jack Douglas. The dedication reads 'Is this the girl you have in mind?', is signed by the author and dated July 1985. Set in Scotland, there is a map to the verso of the prologue. He wrote numerous scripts and two novels; this being a later title. The boards will be covered with a 100 micron inert archival protective wrap which is removable.
