The Book Is Not Uncommon But Is Scarce Signed. Van Vogt, According To An Account By His Wife, Haunted The Bookstores For Decades Of Hollywood To Find Paperback Reprints Oif His 100 Books, Because Although He Would Be Paid For The First Printing, Often, If Not Usually, He Failed To Receive Royalties For Successive Printings Until He Could Write Them Telling Them He Had A Copy In Hand, Then Sometimes Receiving The Royalties With An Apology For The "Oversight" (As If The Failure Wasn't Habitual, Too Common To Be Otherwise Than Intentional, And A Widespread "Error" Throughout The Industry).
