About this Item
First edition first printing. Hardback book clean with lean. Text block has light toning to edges. Boards clean with softened corners, black titles perfect. Bumped to head and foot of spine. Pages crisp and unblemished. FEP has previous booksellers stamp and pencil price. Rear pastedown has small and neat biro notation. Feels read but still not loose. Very good condition. Jacket has general wear and rubbing, with small loss to the bottom edge of front panel. The joints, fore-edges, and spine ends have creasing and rubbing, the spine is also sunned. The rear white panel has some feint marking but presents well. The jacket has been historically re-enforced with glued paper strips to the verso. A very good copy. Signed by author. For grading accuracy books are photographed without a protective book cover. This book is fitted with a non adhesive archival quality book protector to make a worthy addition to your collection. Note we do not use stock images, the book pictured is the book described. A solid copy of this title After an unintentionally successful demon-summoning, accountant Prosper Nash finds himself on the astral plane, inhabiting the body of Jean-Prospere, Chevalier de Néche?the swashbuckling cavalier he likes to imagine himself as?and in a New York filled with characters from similar wish-fulfillment daydreams of other mundane souls. This copy is signed by the author to the title page, and was obtained from the estate of Roger Earnshaw, SF collector, well known at British conventions and fandom, who often attended author signings.
