Soul Street is a unique tale of American society through the lens of a haphazard, Chaplinesque homeless hero. A mixture of neo-realism and magic realism that is both evocative and dramatic. Crusty is the mirror image of our dreams, a beggar of God whose hapless comedy is a grim reminder of our own good fortune and luck.
