Autobiography of the erstwhile British leading man (born James Lablache Stewart, hence "Jimmy" to his friends), who rose to stardom in British films during the 1940s and transitioned nicely to a Hollywood career with his starring role in KING SOLOMON'S MINES (1950), which led to a seven-year contract with M-G-M.
