Hardcover in Near Fine condition in a Very Good dust jacket, 8vo, pages: x,98. Green paper-covered boards with titles and decoration in black, dust jacket design identical to the boards, linoleum block prints by Matthews. Putative first edition. Inscribed and dated (Dec 1934) by author (referring to his mother as Aunt Irene) to an apparent relative, probably a cousin, with portrait photograph pasted to front end-paper. Light wear, minor tanning to end-papers, edge-wear and a few small tears to dust jacket, dj spine darkened. Bookseller accession no.: 23711. Bliss, 1889-1940 was a North Dakota-born World War I veteran and "prairie poet".
