However well-known Dearn may have been, this extraordinarily well researched book reveals that Dearn was of Royal parentage and indeed the nephew of a king. To continue the Royal association, Dearn then adopted his sister's daughter whose father was the Prince Regent. Light is shed "on a dark and obscure period of English history" in this "definitive biography". Included with this is a Supplement comprising "additional information to the Dearn story" and errata.
