Item description from seller

DOUBLE-SIGNED FIRST EDITION. Richly illustrated volume recording the conversations, emails, and reflections exchanged between David Hockney and the art critic Martin Gayford while the artist lived and worked in rural Normandy. Exceptionally scarce; according to the publisher, Hockney signed only a handful of copies, and there is no record of a double-signed copy being offered to market. BOOK: Publisher’s blue cloth boards, embossed ‘T&H’ logo to front panel; contents bright and unmarked. DJ: Dust jacket is full with the faintest of nicks to the upper right and lower right corners of the front cover.
