First Edition - one of 600 copies signed by the author for Friends of Borzoi Books. Flat-signed by author (no inscription). Gold-filled full-cloth boards with green imprinting on cover and spine. Also grey topstain and decklecut foredge. Exceptionally clean, bright, solid and square. Flaws: minor sunning to pastedowns, light bump to tail of spine and one page foredge missing small piece (1/2" by 1/4"). NO other flaws - NO fading, NO markings throughout - NO rem mark or ex-lib. Photos avail upon request.
