Browned perimeters of rear cover and spine (All lettering till sharp and eminently readable), while almost completely absent from front cover; light age-toning to text; damage to top spine with a 1/4" x 1/8" bit missing, just below top center, with black line decorative border mostly present above it, but top 1/8" of browned top spine edge missing; glued signatures showing their age: still intact, but showing weakness and susceptibility to cracking by careless handling: it all describes worse than it is, the 105 year-old book being in relatively solid condition, given that age: the way to read such a Classic in Entertainment history. Corners remain sharp (NO bumps or curls). Clean text, except for p.15 informative pencil marginalia, but could be erased; may be the writing of gifted book owner, Nixon Waterman, prominent poet, journalist, etc. in Brazier's prime---investigate). Author inscription and signature on ffep: "For Nixon Waterman from the Author (SIGNED), In appreciation of kindly though undeserved words Jan 21/22".
