The book's name is predictive of its content and stems from the author's tried-and-true formula for writing a speech: start with a laugh, put the meat in the middle, and wave the flag at the end. An engaging account of her 50+ years as a political humorist and speech writer. A clean very presentable copy in a Brodart mylar jacket.
