First Edition, First Printing with inscription by prominent Tibetean exile leader Tenzin Tethong of this study of the political history of Tibet and its unwillingly incorporation into the People's Republic of China. This copy is inscribed on the front endpaper by Tenzin Tethong to a senior U.S. intelligence and foreign policy specialist. Tethong is a Chairman of the Dalai Foundation, a former special representative for the Dalai Lama in the United States and Chairman of the Committee of 100 for Tibet among many pro Tibet activities. The inscription reads "With Respect and good wishes, Tashi Delek! Tenzin Tethong, Oct 30, 1989." Brown cloth, 381 pages.
