8vo in tan linen backed orange paper covered boards, 15pp printed in red and black on laid paper. A brief memoir of British author Stella Benson who spent much time in California by her friend and fellow author Phyllis Bottome. Inscribed to Will (William) Arnold-Forster (another British author, also MP and sometime Bloomsbury Group member) and signed by Bottome on the front blank fly-leaf, she has also added a quote from J R Lowell below her inscription .
