Earl Fallis was the Chief Inspector for the U.S. Border Patrol for Southern Arizona during the 1930's. Photo of Martin glued in at front endpaper. Also, Includes a TLS, on Martin's persaonal stattionary, dated "March 10th, 1837", by Martin to Fallis saying he cannot accept his invitation to go on a hunting trip because his wife is ill and he is having problems with a new editor at his major publisher and source of income. Letter signed "Chuck" and is in excellent condition. Boards of book are worn with some sunning at spine. Front hinge a bit pulled but holoding. Pages milldy toned.
