A rare signed first print copy of Frank Conroy's memoir of his boyhood and adolescence. A tight and clean unmarked copy signed by Conroy directly on the title page--signature only. The dustjacket is complete and unclipped with the usual edgewear to the head and heel of the spine to the notoriously fragile paper used. In addition there are a couple of professionally repaired closed end tears. Back panel blurbs by William Styron and Norman Mailer--very scarce signed.
