1st Edition 1st state 1902. Tipped in Kipling Burwash Letter to endpaper. Quite a bright book. A collection of Kipling's well-known animal stories, including "How the Whale Got his Throat," "The Elephant's Child," and "The Butterfly That Stamped." With author's illustrations throughout. Book is very good with bright boards and spine. Spine tips/corners lightly rubbed. White printing is bright and much better than normal. Spine slightly faded. Contents good with foxing, marking and thumbing to some pages. Much better example than normally appears. Ref.

PBFA members are expected to adhere to a code of practice which includes ensuring that that all transactions are conducted to high professional standards and that all book descriptions are complete, accurate and clearly state any faults. We offer an unconditional guarantee of every item’s authenticity and completeness as described. All refunds are limited to the original purchase price, including initial delivery costs. Postage, packing and insurance are extra at cost. Books may be returned within ten days of receipt if found to be not as described, providing the books are returned adequately packaged and in the same condition as received. I recommend that all returned books are sent by a tracked and signed for postal service as any losses or damage during transit are the responsibility of the sender. Postage return refunds will be at the same postal price as when shipped. Please notify us prior to returning any books. Shipping terms
Orders usually shipped within 2 business days. Shipping costs are based on books weighing 2.2 LB, or 1 KG. If your book order is heavy or oversized, we may contact you to let you know if extra shipping is required.
All overseas orders with priority shipping (8 days+) will be sent by either tracked airsure or international signed for. The slower postal rates (14 days +) will be sent by standard airmail and will take longer to arrive. We recommend to all our customers to use the priority shipping as this is a much quicker and secure method of shipment.
All books where possible will be sent in wrap around cardboard boxes and bubble wrapped.
